Director of Supply Chain Logistics

  • Create demand and supply planning processes that enable the organization to fulfill its financial goals and customer satisfaction metrics 
  • Manage performance of contract manufacturers and drive continuous improvements in the delivery and cost model
  • Streamline order fulfillment process that enables the organization to ship on time against first commit date and within lead time
  • Drive initiatives that lead the organization to improve quality and service
  • Engage stakeholder & facilitates inputs to drive timely and proactively decision making in areas of backlog, inventory management, deliveries, performance of contract manufacturers, NPI activities, Key Accounts and Customer Impacting issues
  • Drive automation initiatives that enable organization to scale, improve productivity and grow its operations
  • Develop service logistics processes to meet customer contract and SLA on spare parts replacements
  • Empower and engage team(s) to drive and strive for flawless execution, customer and quality mindset
  • Drive supply chain readiness to support new product introductions and any other company initiatives 
  • Identify and develop metrics around key performance indicators to drive visibility and proactive mitigation

  • BS/BA in Business Administration, Operations/Production Management, Supply Chain Management or related field of Study
  • 7-10 years of relevant work experience in supply chain management is required; including planning, transportation & logistics, with at least 2 years of experience managing Operations in an out-sourced manufacturing environment
  • Experience supporting product launch is preferred
  • Experience managing supply chain systems
  • Must possess strong skills in cross-functional leadership, communication & project management
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate and advance multiple project timelines, simultaneously
  • Ability to operate in dynamic, fast-paced start-up environment with minimal supervision
  • Proven leadership skills in building and managing teams
  • Analytical and negotiation skills
