Network Site Reliability Engineer

Celona, founded in 2019, is an early-stage innovator on a mission to bring reliable and intelligent private LTE/5G wireless networks to Enterprises. Our solution combines the power of 5G radio technology, edge computing, and machine learning to deploy a Cloud managed zero-touch private wireless network that seamlessly integrates with an existing enterprise network over the high-speed CBRS spectrum.  Celona is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to lead the efforts to ensure that all Celona services are available, reliable, and fast.  


  •  Diagnose customer issues in software delivered by various development teams 
  • Investigate, diagnose, and resolve performance and reliability problems in a wide range of large-scale and distributed environments. 
  • Write automation code for provisioning and operating infrastructure at massive scale, 
  • Develop tools to monitor network health, including metrics collection, visualization, and alerting. 
  • Participate in and support other teams with trouble issues. 
  • Strong team player with a high degree of flexibility. 


You will be an ideal candidate if you have:


  • Experience operating a production environment at high scale with emphasis on availability, throughput, latency and healthy customer experience. 
  • Deep knowledge of remote network troubleshooting using various tools: tcpdump, arp-scan, dhcp, vlan,  dns, https, etc. 
  • Knowledge of Unix/Linux systems including kernel, systems libraries, file systems, and system resources monitoring. 
  • Good working knowledge with Linux container orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes 
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms: AWS and Azure or Google. 
  • Good knowledge of Python. 
  • Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and build tools like Jenkins. 
  • Strong team player with a “can do” attitude, and the flexibility to jump in wherever needed. 
  • Would thrive on a small engineering team and is excited to solve open-ended problems across the stack. 
  • Direct customer facing experience in troubleshooting challenging technical issues.
