RAN Application Engineer

Celona is seeking a RAN Development Engineer (Bangalore office) who will be responsible for development of 4G and 5G RAN applications for the RIC platform.  You will understand business needs, draw development requirements, and keep deployment scenarios in mind while creating stable and high-performing products. 


  • Design, implement, and test applications as part of team building the Celona RAN Intelligent Controller platform.
  • Develop new algorithms and applications for continuous optimization and tuning of RAN and core resources. 
  • Work with QA to take SW through unit tests and system tests using real UEs and UE simulators.


You will be an ideal candidate if you have:

  • Graduate /Post graduate Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering or related fields and 8+ years of related professional experience.
  • Experience in developing SON software.
  • Experience in developing OAM applications.
  • Must have experience with various aspects of SW development life cycle: Real-time implementation, debugging, system test, validation and SW qualification.
  • Strong expertise in one of C/C++/go 
  • Comprehensive understanding of 3GPP Wireless Standards related to 5G-NR and LTE-A is strongly desired.
