Sales Director - US East

Celona was born with the idea that a combination of 5G radio technology, edge computing and machine learning software will fundamentally change how organizations work and do business. Our journey has started on April 2019. Our founding team members have been part of companies like Qualcomm, Aruba, Cisco and have built products spanning technologies from chipsets to systems to cloud based software.

Celona is hiring a Sales Director for the US East region who will be responsible for opening up Celona business on the east coast. The role will be supported with a field system engineer.        

The Sales Directors at Celona are responsible for the overall coordination, the functional management and leadership of all of the sales activities of the business in their regions.

Position reports directly to the CEO.

High Level Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a tactical sales plans to meet or exceed quota
  • Establish a set of target prospects and deliver a 90-day business plan
  • Manage lead qualification and conversion from interested prospects
  • *30-40% travel, as required, to prospects, customers or events (*post COVID)

Customer Engagement

  • Develop prospects to determine solution needs and expand sales to existing customers
  • Organize sales presentations to match company's products and identified needs
  • Remain knowledgeable of products to facilitate product evals and sales effort
  • Timely follow up with key leads and contacts to ensure customer satisfaction  

Forecasting, Reporting and Operations

  • Maintain sales records and prepare sales reports as required
  • Maintain a weekly and 90-day rolling forecast in
  • Manage all aspects of product evals in partnership with sales operations
  • Submit contracts, NDAs and eval agreements for proper execution
  • Coordinate specific objectives of the sales plan with all functional departments

Partners and Channel

  • Recruit IT reseller and managed services partners in the US East region
  • Provide education and program development for partners, eg. Lunch & Learns
  • Develop and manage partner business plans and conduct quarterly reviews
  • Create the necessary infrastructure to ensure partner development and activity

You will be an ideal candidate if you have:

  • Strong background in enterprise IT technology
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Strong negotiating skills and capacity
  • Experience in high tech industry, preferably wireless networking
  • Highly organized, very effective with time management skills
  • Excellent written, verbal and listening communication skills
  • 8+ years of experience in sales and track record of success
  • 4+ years managing sales teams (optional)
  • Bachelor’s Degree highly preferred.
