Senior Manager - Business Applications

About this role:

The Senior Manager, Business Applications will have responsibility to transform or improve business processes through technology and automation. Celona will provide you the opportunity to ask, “What’s possible?” To that end, you will be responsible for the timely delivery of projects and initiatives that support Celona's strategic objectives.

This position will drive the necessary alignment between technology teams, business processes, and a wide range of functional organizations. The primary stakeholders are Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Finance, HR, and Product Management.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Act as the lead and solution architect on business solutions and technologies for Celona stakeholders.
  • Strong ability to document, analyze and optimize business processes for Celona to scale and achieves its objectives.
  • Lead business discussions to understand the business requirements and recommend solutions and technology best suited for each functional group within Celona
  • Lead implementation of new projects as well as bug fixes and enhancement initiatives to existing applications
  • Perform Functionality testing, Integration testing and lead User Acceptance Testing on the processes and business applications that you will implement.
  • Provide accurate time estimates for projects; develop practical project timelines that take all business and resource conditions into account
  • Work closely with strategic application vendors, manage outside vendors and contractors to ensure performance expectations and satisfaction with your Celona colleagues
  • Manage the offshore partner, who acts as the extended team
  • Take an active role in evaluating software platforms and implementation partners to guideCelona functional groups on what’s possible.
  • Foster a culture of trusted partnership, collaboration, and continuous improvement


Cross-Functional Responsibilities:

  • Work with functional leadership and their teams to create a robust business application roadmap for Celona.  Ensure this roadmap is well understood throughout the business functions and meet emerging requirements
  • Work closely with business teams to understand current and future requirements; suggest solutions and alternatives


  • Strong functional and tech knowledge in the business processes and associated applications related to Marketing, Sales, Service, Finance, HR, and Product Management
  • 7+ Years of experience in the IT space. Demonstrated growth over the last few years with growth in the breadth of responsibilities
  • Advanced hands-on experience supporting, troubleshooting, and implementing SaaS based business applications, including ERP, CRM, integration middleware
  • Experience with one or more of the following business applications is strongly preferred:



                   Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Salesforce CPQ)

  • Experience managing external vendors and implementation teams
  • Experience managing offshore partners
