Overview

The AP 20 is the plug-and-play multimode access point in the Celona Orion platform - the industry’s only multimode LTE/5G NR access point for future-proof private wireless infrastructure. Bringing the speed, security, and reliability of 5G NR to enterprises across industries, it was engineered to deliver pervasive indoor cellular coverage across enterprise environments - warehouses, retail stores, manufacturing plants, hospitals, and offices. With both LTE and 5G radios on board, each AP 20 can operate in either mode, letting enterprises future-proof their infrastructure as the device ecosystem evolves from LTE to 5G. Powered by CelonaOS, it delivers deterministic performance for business-critical applications and supports AerFlex - AP-only deployments with zero on-site infrastructure. Ultra-low latency under 10 ms enables applications like wireless PLCs and PROFINET.

A multimode LTE/5G NR access point powered by CelonaOS, purpose-built for indoor enterprise environments — IP52 rated with dust protection and IEEE 802.3bt Type 4 PoE++ for seamless integration with existing network infrastructure. Operating on band n48 (3.55-3.7 GHz) with AerFlex support, it delivers zero-touch provisioning, self-organizing spectrum management, and an integrated PTP timing source — no external timing equipment required.

Each AP 20 can be configured to operate in LTE or 5G NR mode, giving enterprises a seamless path to 5G NR with no hardware upgrades. Deploy 4G and 5G NR devices simultaneously on the same network as your device ecosystem evolves.

Certificate-based mutual authentication secures the connection between AP and cloud. Data at rest and in transit is protected by comprehensive encryption, and system components undergo regular third-party penetration testing.

Cloud-controlled with local data break-out - no on-site appliances, racks, or custom cabling. Ideal for distributed, space-constrained, or remote sites. Supported on AP2X radios.

Out-of-the-box zero-touch provisioning brings each AP online in minutes with no manual setup. Self-organizing spectrum management optimizes spectrum usage across the network to minimize interference and maximize capacity, and an integrated PTP timing source eliminates external timing equipment.

IP-52 rated with dust protection for indoor ruggedized environments. Integrates seamlessly with existing infrastructure via IEEE 802.3bt Type 4 PoE++, and mounts on a T-bar, ceiling, or wall.

One-way application latency under 10 ms (device to edge). 5QI MicroSlicing™ enforces QoS per application flow so critical workloads always get priority bandwidth. Delivers up to 1 Gbps aggregate throughput (2×2 MIMO, up to 256 QAM, 30 kHz sub-carrier spacing) with predictable high-speed mobility above 25 mph between access points.
