With Celona, Purdue Research Foundation (PRF) is building an indoor/outdoor private cellular network that blankets a 400-acre, $1B+ smart city development adjacent to the campus of Purdue University. From students getting home broadband for the first time to the Industrial IoT, the sheer diversity of customers and app requirements demonstrates how private cellular can serve businesses, schools, industrial organizations and municipalities.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I apply for multiple installations?

We recommend you to submit multiple applications only if there is a clear difference in terms of the technical and business use cases, audiences served, geolocations under test and application types to be tested on the Celona 5G LAN. In most conditions, given limited product availability, we will approve a single free trial installation per end customer deployment.

How do I provide feedback during the free trial?

We will use the weekly check-in meetings led by our field engineering teams to gather your feedback. Topics would range from specific product features to requests for usability enhancements, and other items highlighted in a joint test plan.

Who can participate in Celona's free trial program?

We expect IT professionals to submit the request on behalf of end customer environments within the enterprise segment, while they might be representing managed service providers and enterprise IT channel partners.

Is the data discovered during the free trial program confidential ?

It is required that the relevant hardware and software should not be deployed within facilities and systems you don't directly control. As covered by the evaluation agreement, it is required that you do not share information about the installation publicly and discuss its findings with other organizations.

How do I opt out of the free trial?

You may opt out of the program at any time, and can email us at hello@celona.io to start the process. Celona will be responsible for helping you with deactivation of your account along with removal of your data from Celona’s cloud service. You would be responsible to tear down the hardware installed on-premises and return to Celona's field engineering teams.
