In-Building Voice Call Using Private Network, Published in 2025 International Conference on Computing, Networking and Communications (ICNC)
Through controlled experiments, this work compares indoor voice quality across MNO macro, Wi-Fi calling, CBRS private networks, and neutral-host architectures, focusing on latency, packet loss, and MOS. The results show that private network (with 0 bar MNO signal or SoS mode) and neutral-host cellular deliver more reliable indoor voice, especially for e911, than Wi-Fi or weak macro coverage in dense buildings.
