Indoor Sharing in the Mid-Band: A Performance Study of Neutral-Host, Cellular Macro, and Wi-Fi, Published in IEEE MILCOMM 2025
This empirical study compares CBRS neutral-host, public macro cellular, and Wi-Fi in a large retail environment. It shows that neutral-host networks deliver higher normalized throughput, stronger indoor coverage, and better spectral efficiency with far fewer radios. It provides concrete evidence that scheduled cellular MAC outperforms contention-based Wi-Fi for dense indoor deployments.
